TATOOT BAGS: A Work Of Art On Your Back

By Darc Marc

Fresh! That’s still a word. Not in the conventional sense of how you’d think it should be used. When I use the word FRESH! I mean looking FRESH! Head to toe in the flyest gear to date. Sounds a bit nostalgic, doesn’t it? The old heads know what I’m talking about. It was a time when everything was described as FRESH. Remember when Graffiti masterpieces graced the outside of our trains to the amusement and delight of millions. MILLIONS! Well, the more things change the more they stay the same. As we (older people, ahem) appreciated that then, a new generation of Graffiti lovers can appreciate it now.

Tatoot, a new line of graffiti themed backpacks, set to appear in stores in July are about to bridge that gap. Started by two entrepreneurs, David Ben David and Eddie Shabot who were inspired by that era of time and used acclaimed graffiti artists to etch and sketch and work their magic on plain white backpacks. As you can tell from the pics, a work of art would be an understatement to describe these everyday accessories. The initial line will be approximately seven bags, with more scheduled to roll out very soon.

Teens, DJ’s, Sneaker Heads, Bee Boys and Girls and the like I’m certain there is a bag to your liking that’ll match your kicks, tees, socks or hat. Don’t be afraid to make a statement…dont’ be afraid to draw and don’t be afraid to Draw Loud!

Tatoot. Coming Soon!
